Handmade Comb for a bride who wanted to wear her mothers 25 year old veil.
The original veil was attached to an Alice Band with Pearls and Flowers. (Pictures top left and bottom right).
I designed the comb in the style of the original headband, mimicking the pearl loops & flowers (Picture top right)
Adding the blue flowers to match the brides shoes made this comb something old, something new, something borrowed and something blue!
Mother of the bride hat designed and matched to swatch of material sent. The client sent me some ideas of hat styles she liked and I designed from there, incorporating the Blush colour with the Burgundy and Ivory to highlight the dress (bottom and top left photos).
Mother of the bride hat designed to coordinated with outfit using Navy, and Ivory with a pop of Hot Pink to match the bridesmaids shoes as per clients wishes (middle photo).

A client from Vancouver Canada requested 3 Bespoke Hatinators/Fascinators to be sent to Vancouver to match 3 outfits she had already purchased.
I worked with her online to match colours and review the designs during the process.
For one of the Fascinators I made a black base and 3 interchangeable trimmings that could be clipped on and off to match different colour outfits.
These headpieces were then sent to the client in Vancouver.
A client came to me with a juliette cap she had found when clearing out her grandmothers loft. She asked if I could restore it to its original glory so she could wear it to a family wedding.
I was able to achieve this by steaming and shaping the cap and veiling, rewriring underneath the original piping and reattaching the original piping, unsewing the velvet flower so it could be reshaped and sewn back on and adding a few flowers to match the clients outfit.
It was a lovely project to work on and so nice to be able to give this historic cap new life.
